Hello! After graduating form Philadelphia University in 2014 with a degree in Industrial Design + double minoring in Textile Materials and Composite Manufacturing, I have since been fortunate enough to design for a multitude of international clients as well as develop my skills as not only a industrial designer, but as a graphic + UI/UX designer. Working as a head designer in the Childcare industry, I found very quickly that not only does the design need to function + be aesthetically pleasing, but fit within a very strict envelope of safety standards and manufacturing tolerances. These hurdles not only allowed me to have more insight into the industry, but I feel made me a stronger designer and allows me to think realistically while still pushing the design of the product. Having the ability to think about multiple levels of design; from the product itself, graphics, packaging, marketing materials and approach as well as the end process of manufacturing means that the products I create are fully thought out, and developed to the best possible standards that I can produce. I feel that design has the unique opportunity that falls in-between conceptual art and manufacturable design.
